Based on the most recent formulations I have seen the finest food on the market today is Yokozuna by Japan Pet Drug. Now, finding it, and affording it, are two OTHER things.

I have a half dozen foods for Koi that I like very much but no nutritionist would look at the label on Yokozuna and disagree that it set a high water mark for proteins and nutrition.

Call (800) 775-2095 and ask them if they have YOKOZUNA. I am concerned that it may have been discontinued, perhaps too expensive to produce with the ingredients it has.
